A vist to Bath, NY

If you have ever been concern about traveling to New York then let me put your mind to rest. It depends on what part you dare to venture into. Bath, NY is on the west side not far from Buffalo. This area and upstate NY is very beautiful and the people are most kind and willing to talk to you.

We are staying at Hickory Hill Resort and everywhere you look there is a mountain. Matter of fact we are sitting at the base of a mountain. There is a hiking trail .4 miles from here which runs 800 miles across the state. Of course the .4 miles is basically straight up. So far I have walked it twice. The first time I thought I would be in need of some oxygen, but the next time was not so bad. I was going to walk it today, however, it rained a lot yesterday and I did not want to find myself rolling down the hill.

The area here is know for its winery and last weekend there was a wine festival in town.

The RV park has 180 sties and 24 work campers. They have a array of entertainment for the kids. Putt put, arts & crafts, one heated pool and one not heated, volley ball, bad mitten, pool parties, water games, movie night, ice cream parties.

All in all the park is quite lovely. They could stand to do a little more work on the parking area for the rigs on the sites.
