Rainy days and Mondays

We made it to Meridian, MS without any problems, Yaay! We did not run into any rain even tho there were threatening skies and foggy the whole trip. Kris was able to get the landing gear that broke on us before we left my mom's repaired before the rains came in.
Not only is Kris so lovable he is so handy to have around. I don't know anything that he cannot fix and fix RIGHT!

While we were eating breakfast this morning we thought it was raining. We soon noticed we were not seeing raindrops on the ground and realized it was birds on our slide. They seem to be enjoying the buffet of lady bugs and spiders that are caught in the seals. Our little Teton is feeling so unloved. It is so nasty from sitting under trees at my moms. Between my back surgery and Kris traveling with his job and now rain in the forecast for most of the week there has not been any time to wash it. We will probably hire someone to wash it since it is dark by the time Kris gets home and we have plans to visit his dad down in Wiggins this weekend. So I guess the birds will dine with us again tonight!

Driving through the Southern part of South Carolina and all of Georgia and Alabama,it was very sad to see how severe the drought still is in these parts. It will take years for them to get their water tables up and recover from all of this.
