Stuck in the Middle

Have you ever felt like you are stuck in a moment and can't seem to move forward? When we arrived in Meridian on January 4th it was only for a week. However, the job Kris was here for went from bad to worse and back again. The new equipment did not come in as scheduled, this put us here another week. After testing some equipment a 30 watt wire wound line blew from the panel Kris was working on and missed Kris's face by inches. Thankfully he is fine, but, it caused more problems and added another week to our stay.

We were suppose to leave for Montgomery, Al. this Friday, however, it will not happen now. The new system is to be in place tomorrow but, one of the local techs had a death in the family and is not able be around Friday to make sure the new system is behaving properly. Therefore, Kris will have to stick around for another couple of days. I am not excited about Alabama. It really isn't I dislike Mississippi. Then what is the reason we want to leave so badly? I really don't know, other than, I really don't like Mississippi. This might be why we seem to be stuck here longer than we both care to be. I have been working for a while now on how to enjoy where I am at on the way to where I want to be. Sometimes it is harder than it seems. I guess you can say this about everyone's life. We all want to fast forward past the not so good times. However, the not so good times is usually where the memories lie when we reflect back on our past. The not so good times is where we learn and grow and where it molds us to be the person we want to become. I have to remind myself of this from time to time. We are here for a reason and we are sowing in to a harvest which is waiting patiently down the road for us.

Since we will be here another week we will spend the time replacing slid seals Kris had ordered. The weather should be quite lovely.

So all in all being here does have its benefits. We are together and this is what truly matters.
